Walter Parker Hood

Walter Parker Hood, (Papaw) 88 of Delhi Texas, passed away April 8, 2018 In Bandera Tx where he lived with his Son Douglas Hood. He is now at home sitting with his beloved wife Flossie who passed away back in 2013.
He will be dearly missed by his son, Douglas Hood of Bandera Texas, daughter, Denise Dodson and husband Butch, of Kemah, Texas; grandchildren, Greg Dodson and wife Aleshia, of Dayton, Texas, Lori Dodson and Scottie, of Kemah, Tianna Galipp and husband Brandon, of Delhi, and Marshall Hood, of Lockhart. Walter had many grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren that he loved very much, and who were very special to his heart, Riley, son of Lori and Scottie, Chelsi, Hunter and Hannah, daughters of Greg and Aleshia, Payton an–d Parker, daughter and son of Tianna and Brandon. He also had a Great- Great Grandson Benjamin Son of Chelsi Dodson.
He was a very special man to so many people, every time you saw him he would have a smile on his face and a little spunk in his step. He loved life and enjoyed every moment of it. He will be missed by so many people, but he is now back in the arms of the love of his life who he has missed for far too long.

Family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at McCurdy Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at Delhi Cemetery Wednesday, April 11, 2018 beginning at 1 pm.
