Willie James Achord, Jr.
Willie James Achord, Jr., of Taylorsville, Texas, passed away at the age of 84, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.
Willie, a retired farm worker, loved church, music and just about everybody he met. He was active in his church and never met a stranger.
Willie is survived by many different families and friends. He was taken into the Howard Voigt family in 1960 where he is loved as
family.
He is survived by Jeff Voigt, Justin Voigt, Glenna Wallace and numerous grandchildren. Willie has been an integral part of the Voigt family for five generations. He is also survived by brothers, George Achord and Alton Achord and nephew, Ron Achord.
Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Delhi Baptist Church, 6278 Texas 304, Rosanky, Texas, 78953. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m.
Our condolences to Willie’s family. We will miss seeing him zip around Elm Grove on his four-wheeler.
