Lockhart creates Parks and Rec Department, director role
The City of Lockhart on Tuesday night took a step toward developing recreational opportunities in the community and potentially eventually establishing a community recreation center.
The Lockhart City Council voted 7-0 to create the City of Lockhart Parks and Recreation Department and, with it, the position of Parks and Recreation Director.
