Felony offenders accept plea deals
The Caldwell County District Courts recently entered plea agreements with 21 felony offenders. The agreements call for 16 of the 21 offenders to serve time in jail. The plea agreements include:
Joseph Chastain pled guilty to indecency with a child and was sentenced to two years confinement in prison;
Daniel Deleon pled true to violating his probation for burglary
of a habitation. He was sentenced to 4 years confinement in prison
Leon Drexler pled guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 10 years in prison probated for six. He was also ordered to pay a $1,500 fine;
George Harrison pled true to violating his probation for possession of controlled substance. He was sentenced to five years confinement in prison;
Jay Frank Holifield pled guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced to 10 years confinement in prison;
Anthony Henderson pled guilty to possession of controlled substance and was sentenced to one year in the Caldwell County Jail;
Leonard Hovis pled guilty to indecency with a child and was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication. Hovis was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine;
Carl Hunt pled guilty to two counts of felony driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 10 years confinement in prison;
Demone King pled guilty to aggravated kidnapping and was sentenced to five years confinement in prison;
Joshua Leone pled guilty to possession of controlled substance and was sentenced to 200 days in a State Jail Facility;
Victor Luna-Cruz pled guilty to assault on a public servant. He was sentenced to three years confinement in prison;
Renee McDonald pled guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to four years confinement in prison;
Marcelas Moore pled guilty to deadly conduct. Moore was sentenced to one year deferred adjudication and ordered to pay a $750 fine;
Richard M. Munoz pled true to violating his probation for felony driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to three years confinement in prison;
Robert Reynolds pled true to violating his probation for bail jumping and sentenced to two years confinement in prison;
Shannon Patschke pled guilty to credit card abuse. Patschke was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine;
Christine Perez pled guilty to aggravated assault on a public servant. She was sentenced to eight years deferred adjudication and ordered to pay $2,000 fine;
John Roland Sanders, Jr., pled guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 180 days in the Caldwell County Jail;
Severo Valdez pled true to violating his deferred adjudication probation and was sentenced to 300 days in a State Jail Facility;
Kerry Wendel pled guilty to assault and was sentenced to one year in the county jail; and
Mark Ygnacio pled guilty to possession of controlled substance and was sentenced to one year in a State Jail Facility.
