Alcario Q. Juarez
Alcario Q. Juarez, 71, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He had his family by his side while he peacefully passed away joining his loved ones in Heaven.
Alcario, also known as “Al”” was born on Jan. 12, 1945, in Lockhart, Texas, to Eduardo and Antonia Juarez. He was the youngest of eight children. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Melit
on Juarez, Juan Juarez, Timoteo Juarez, Roman Juarez, Romalda Rodriguez and Cipriano Juarez.
On May 31, 1975, he married the love of his life, Mary Louise Juarez. They lived a blessed and beautiful life together, celebrating 41 years of marriage. Al was a great man of catholic faith, which led him through his life and most certainly through his illnesses, which gave him much strength. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. Although he will be dearly missed, we rejoice in knowing that he is with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ and we will meet again.
Al Juarez is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Juarez; and daughters, Lisa Ancira (Tom), Flora Guerrero and Jessica Tamayo (Peter). Al is also survived by his sister, Eleanor Sillero and nephew, James Juarez; grandchildren: Millicent Martinez, Tanya Guerrero, Deserae Martinez, Armando Guerrero, III, Tristan Flores, Andre Guerrero, Augustine Guerrero, Tyler Tamayo, Trey Tamayo and Ryan Tamayo; and great-grandchildren: Amery Hernandez and Ethan Flores.
A visitation for A1 was held for at McCurdy Funeral Home from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and continued at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church at 4 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 22. Saturday morning, July 23rd, visitation was also held from 9 a.m. – noon at McCurdy Funeral Home before departure for Mass to celebrate Al’s life at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lockhart.
