Tai Chi Classes in Lockhart

Tai Chi classes will be held at 2:30 every Wednesday in October. Classes will be at the Lockhart Senior Activities Center at 901 Bois D’Arc Street. Tai Chi is suitable for people of all ages and  fitness levels.

Lockhart Cemetery Tour

Lockhart’s Secrets & Shadows:  Historic Cemetery Tour.  Join us for a tractor ride from Mill Scale Metalworks to the cemetery.  Event is October 17-18 with tours at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm.  Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for check in.   Proceeds benefit Caldwell County Museum. Delhi Volunteer Fire Department 

16th Annual Gun Raffle/Chili Cook-Off 

Come out on Saturday October 18th to the Delhi Fire Station located at 6255 State Highway 304. 

Serving will begin at 4PM followed by a live auction, concluding with the raffle drawing for 9 guns. Raffle tickets $20 on sale now, call to purchase 830-263-1555.

St. John Colony Fall Festival 

Historic Cemetery Signage unveiling, and featuring published Narratives written by our Freedmen Colony Communities descendants hosted  by the St, John Colony Civic Center at 189 Carter Road Dale, Texas on October 18th, 2025, 10:00 A.M.

Irving Club to Meet

The Irving Club will meet October 22 at 12 noon, at  Whizzerville Hall in McMahan. The Program will be

about the History of the Hall, followed by Lunch and Shopping at the local  McMahan establishments. Members are encouraged to car pool with a friend and lunch can be purchased at the Hall. The Irving Club meets every third Tuesday from September through May and membership dues are $20. Regular Irving Club meetings are held  at the Eugene Clark Library and begin with a social gathering and refreshments from 2-2:30 pm followed by a meeting and program beginning at 2:30 pm.

BINGO TOURNAMENT

Join us for our 2nd Annual Take Me Home-Advocates for Transport Bingo Tournament on Oct. 25th, 2:00-4:30  @ the Blue Pearl. Advance tickets can be purchased @ www.takemehometransport.org

Tickets purchase includes bingo & small bites. There will be a silent auction & cash bar. All proceeds support Take Me Home in their efforts to transport shelter dogs from high risk shelters to their forever homes. 

Golden Age Home to host Fall Festival

Join Golden Age for their Fall Festival on October 31, 5:30- 6:30 p.m.  Children can play games and receive candy in a safe environment. This year, Parkview Nursing Home, will also have a Trunk or Treat at this same time, giving families more opportunities to Trick or Treat in safe places.  We have issued a CANDY challenge to see who can bring in the most PIECES of individually wrapped candy for this event.  For this Challenge, candy needs to be delivered to Golden Age Home by a department representative during business hours, Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, no later than October 28th. Volunteers are also needed to host an Activity Booth.
