Gladys Marie Culpepper

     It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gladys Marie Culpepper, who passed away peacefully on the morning of August 18, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1932 in Fay, Oklahoma to Charlie and Sadie Arnold. 

     Gladys was married to the love of her life Samuel Henry Culpepper on January 20, 1953. They raised a family together in Lake Jackson and traveled the world before settling down in retirement in Lockhart. 

     She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed staying in touch with her many friends. 

     She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Culpepper and her sons Sam and LaVon and survived by her 5 grandchildren. 

     She was laid to rest in Lockhart cemetery in a private ceremony.Funeral services were entrusted to McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart, TX.
