Pete Balandran

Pete “Pilo” Balandran, 64, passed away on Dec. 12, 2010, at home surrounded, by his loved ones. He was born in Lockhart on Dec. 17, 1945, to Candelario Balandran and Trinidad Zapata.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother Jesse, Balandran.

Pete is survived by his wife of 41 years, Angie Rivas Balandran; daughter, Rachel Hanna (Sam); son, Jeff (A

manda); three granddaughters: Samantha, Leah and Carmen; and sister, Mary Balandran, of Austin; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Pete had a talent for art and enjoyed showing and talking about his artwork. He was a good, hard-working person and enjoyed whatever job he was into.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010. Funeral mass was on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Robert Becker. Interment followed to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
