The Lockhart Post-Register is pleased to announce the start of the Second Annual “Best of Caldwell County Readers’ Choice Poll.”
The “Best of Caldwell County Readers’ Choice Poll” was introduced last year as an opportunity for the community to voice their opinions about the businesses they frequent and the people they meet.
“At the newspaper, we are

always asked where is the best place to eat and who is the best doctor,” said Dana Garrett, publisher of the Lockhart Post-Register. “Since we all have our own personal preferences, we thought that we should give our readers a chance to tell us about their favorites.”
Garrett said the response from the original poll was so overwhelming that he decided to start the poll early this year.
“Once again this year, we have decided on a massive undertaking, a countywide poll to recognize the best that Caldwell County has to offer,” Garrett said. “Our staff is ready for the challenge, and we look forward to finding out what our readers have to say.”
For the next four weeks, official ballots for the Best of Caldwell County Readers’ Choice Poll will be available in each print edition of the Lockhart Post-Register.
Completed ballots should be returned to the Lockhart Post-Register office at 111 S. Church St. before 5 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2007. Results will be tallied and announced on April 26, 2007.
