In Loving Memory of Tomasa Ruiz Ayala, 71, of Kyle, Texas, was born on July 10, 1952, in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to her loving parents Jesús Ruiz and Eufemia Ayala. Tomasa peacefully departed from this life on February 15, 2024, in Kyle, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Tomasa’s life was a testimony of love and joy. She found great pleasure in music and dance; her spirit radiated with every rhythm and step. As a dedicated matriarch, she delighted in entertaining her family, creating cherished memories at every gathering. Her love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her children and grandchildren, whom she adored endlessly. Tomasa’s laughter was contagious, her presence a beacon of warmth and happiness for all fortunate enough to know her. Among her favorite culinary delights were seafood, especially shrimp and fried fish, as well as the spicy delight of elotes with chili. Tomasa’s enthusiasm for life extended to her appreciation for music, with a special fondness for cumbia and folkloric dance, where her spirit truly came alive. Tomasa leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be forever cherished by her beloved children, Guadalupe Alvarado, Marco Antonio Alvarado, Rogelio Alvarado, Martha Alvarado, and Jesús Ricardo Alvarado, along with her siblings, Andrés Ayala, Francisco Ruiz Ayala, Jesús Ruiz Ayala, Marco Antonio Ruiz Ayala, Rogelio Ruiz, sisters, Juanita Ruiz, Maricruz Ruiz, Martha Alicia Ruiz, Guadalupe Ruiz, Sandra Luz Ruiz, Eufemia Ruiz, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. In their shared grief, they find comfort in the enduring wisdom, infinite love, and unwavering support she provided. To honor and celebrate Tomasa’s remarkable life, a visitation will be held at DeLeon Funeral Home Chapel on February 17, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. A recitation of the rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m., offering an opportunity for all who knew and loved her to pay tribute and bid farewell to a beloved matriarch whose legacy will endure through the lives of those who loved her. Though she may have departed from our sight, Tomasa’s spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of those touched by her grace, kindness, and love. May she rest in eternal peace.
