Barbara Ann Hermon

Barbara Ann Hermon of Lockhart, Texas, passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 17, 2025, at the age of 75. She is daughter of Lois and Donald Vinzant, born on February 24, 1950, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Barbara built a life dedicated to family, hard work, and adventure.

Barbara married the love of her life, Earl Hermon, spending 56 wonderful years together, sharing countless memorable experiences. She cherished the role as a devoted mother. Barbara successfully ran a business for more than 20 years and later retired after a distinguished career at the IRS.

Barbara is survived by her husband Earl Hermon, her daughter Kellyann and her husband Rufus Ceasar, and her son Jonathan Hermon, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Barbabra’s life will be held at McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St. Lockart, Texas 78644, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 2PM. Prior to the service there will be a visitation from 12-2PM.
