CCFB honors Beverly and Bruce Coates

Caldwell County Food Bank would like to extend its deepest gratitude and heartfelt best wishes to the extraordinary volunteer team of Beverly and Bruce Coates.
Since joining our organization in 2019, Beverly and Bruce have played a vital role as part of our foundational volunteer team, demonstrating unwavering dedication to our mission.
For years, the Coates have consistently committed their time and energy, volunteering at least twice a week. Their dedication shined even more brightly during the challenging months of the COVID-19 pandemic, when they showed up daily to help transition our operations to a drive-through model—an immense task that they undertook without hesitation.
Now, Beverly and Bruce are embarking on a new chapter in life as they relocate to be closer to their children.
While we are excited for them and the time they’ll share with their family, their departure leaves a significant void in our hearts and within our team. Their absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of working alongside them.
We will forever be grateful for the impact Beverly and Bruce have made at CCFB. Their legacy of compassion, resilience, and service will remain an inspiration to us all.
From everyone at CCFB: Thank you, Bruce and Bev, for your years of incredible service. We love you; we will miss you dearly, and we wish you nothing but happiness and fulfillment in the journey ahead.
