James E. Medley

James E. Medley, of Lockhart, passed away on Jan. 31, 2011, in Houston, Texas. He was born on Nov. 8, 1922, to John and Della Medley.

Mr. Medley is survived by four daughters: Judy Medley, Kathy Brown, Carol Knapp and Gail Smith; two sisters: Gladys Roberts and Kathryn Malson; sister-in-law betty Medley; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded

in death by his parents; grandson, Shane Medley; brother, Alton Henry; and sisters, Mamie, Alta Mae and Bernice.

Services will be held at Bateman Baptist Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date in the Bunton Cemetery.
