Pet of the Week

Meet Bonz, a handsome 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing approximately 61 pounds!
Bonz’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He was found wandering the streets scared, hungry, and alone. Since arriving at the shelter, he’s been receiving plenty of love, care, and meals to help him gain weight and regain his confidence. As he’s settled in, his wonderful personality has truly started to shine.
Bonz is SUPER friendly, loves playing ball (though bringing it back isn’t really his thing), knows how to shake, and absolutely loves cuddling. More than anything, this sweet boy just wants to be close to people and soak up all the love he can get.
Unfortunately, Bonz tested positive for heartworms. The good news is that the shelter is committed to helping him get the treatment he needs and will work with any potential adopter to ensure he receives heartworm treatment.
Special Pet of the Week Offer: Mention you saw his newspaper article and Bonz’s adoption fee will be WAIVED, making his adoption completely FREE to an approved adopter!
Bonz has already survived being lost, hungry, and alone. Now all he needs is a family to show him what a forever home feels like.
Come meet Bonz and see if he’s the missing piece of your family.
