LISD welcomes new teachers

   Lockhart ISD welcomed another group of new teachers and staff members this week during the district’s second summer onboarding session.

   The afternoon event gave new employees an opportunity to learn more about the district, meet key staff members, and begin preparing for the upcoming school year. The onboarding session was designed to help new teachers and staff feel informed, supported, and welcomed as they join the Lockhart ISD family.

   District leaders expressed appreciation for the Human Resources, business office, technology, and community engagement teams for helping make the session both informative and welcoming.

   The new employees will soon take on roles across the district, serving students, families, and campuses throughout Lockhart ISD. District officials said they are excited to see the positive impact these educators and staff members will make in the classroom and beyond.
