LISD Board celebrates Lever Leader Academy

Recently, Lockhart ISD Board of Trustees celebrated the Lockhart ISD Lever Leader Academy, a professional learning initiative centered on the district’s shared leadership model and focused on growing high performing teachers into leaders of others.
This yearlong academy represented a significant commitment from participants across all Lockhart ISD campuses. Throughout the program, educators engaged in reflective practices, meaningful collaboration, and leadership development alongside both campus and district leaders.
All of these individuals are already making a tremendous impact on their campuses as teacher leaders, several have been recognized as Campus Teachers of the Year. LISD is proud to say 8 have already accepted Lever Leader positions for the 2026–2027 school year.
Their commitment to continuous growth and excellence reflects Lockhart ISD’s ongoing commitment to unlocking potential and remaining Locked on Excellence for the students, staff, and community.
LISD is incredibly proud of this group and grateful for their dedication to serving students, supporting their colleagues, and strengthening the future of leadership in Lockhart ISD.
Those recognized in the 2025-2026 Lever Leader Academy were:
